Owners file against Dodge for expanding Durango Hellcat production into 2023

According to reports, Dodge kept producing the Durango Hellcat in 2023 despite exceeding the 3,000-unit limit.

According to Yahoo News, Dodge reportedly planned to build 3,000 copies of the Durango Hellcat in a single manufacturing year.

It was the most recent example of Stellantis' pattern of packing the well-liked supercharged V8 engine into cars under all of company names at the time.

These Durango Hellcat versions had a unique 700-horsepower engine and a small number of units produced, which created the perfect environment for hefty dealer markups and long-term resale value.
